Kunal, as you pointed out, my iPad fetched me a bail quite easily. But interestingly, I had locked my iPad with a security code, of which the police men have no idea at all. But in case, they manage to crack the password, with technical support from the immortal A.C.P Pradyumnan of the Mumbai C.I.D, I have undertaken second level security measures too. I used my pendrive in the iPad and injected all the viruses I had carefully collected from my faithful legndary laptop, into the system. And you as well as many Windyites very well know the consequences of that. This incredible feat of mine has boosted my morale after this devastating event. And FYI, I am planning to take up the job of a contractor after I graduate, and I shall render my service to hostels of IIT D, continuing my tryst with the historic educational cum residential monuments at Hauz Khas.

By the way if you haven't noticed yet, before the disaster, a student managed to write on facebook that "I am urgently in need of coffee".(I guess too much noise due to construction demands a Barista coffee). So two guys came under his daddy's instruction with a cup of coffee, but only to find the Windy south wing in debris.
The guys managed to pull the student out and he resides in East wing today. The student is presently thanking facebook in an unprecedented way, by narrating what he saw on that fatal day.

The reporters from IICians also report something similar being witnessed by devgans in the very vicinity of Windyites. Sources also claimed that Maintenance Secretary and the authorities alleged to be involved were already aware of what happened to devgans last year. Knowing this there was nothing done to inquire into matter with the contractor. This gives a clear indication of things being much more complicated than they look. To commemorate this historic event, the Windy hostel's best friend and well wisher Meow hostel have expressed sympathy and kind heartedly declared 48 hours of mourning and assured Windyites that there would be no purring at all for the next two days. They have also been kind enough to share their ration and hostel points with Windy and even agreed to feed Windy's cat which has been living in Windy since time immemorial. However, some politically dormant and culturally inactive Windyites have rejected Meow's offer, alleging that the cat may be Meow's spy and Meow might be exploiting this sad event to get in depth knowledge about Windy's political metabolism, considering the proximity of the event to "that" time of the year.

I think I shud buy a domain 4m GoDaddy. Actually my Visa card can only be used on 'Verified by Visa' sites, so I can't even open a PayPal acc with it...so I thought I shud purchase directly using the card 4m Yahoo, as it is a big company.

But lukz lyk I'll hav 2 try 4 GoDaddy again.
Dunno if it's safe 2 shop using ur card on it...

I'm gonna use the free Byet hosting.

I think that's the case -- but I'm surprised that their price increases so drastically after the first year. The amount I'm paying ~2000 stayed roughly constant in the second year.

But I must warn you -- Yahoo doesn't give PHP5 -- so if you plan to use it, or use a CMS which uses it, then look for another hosting provider.

Hi! Thanx 4 the info! I think I'll b able 2 use my BSNL EVDO this way.

Plzzzz help me with 1 thing, I'm gonna buy a domain 4m Yahoo, they've written that they'll charge $9.95/yr & then $34.95/yr after the term gets over! Does that mean they'll charge me $34.95 even if I ask them 2 renew the domain a few days b4 my 1 yr term gets over?

So finally you got it working ... nice
still doesn't show up in networkManager on connecting. I read somewhere you need to add an entry to some config related to HAL to do that.
